Parents’ Association Pumpkin Carving Draws a Crowd
The Ketchum Campus was the site of a new event this year, when parents and more than 60 students across divisions came together for a Parents’ Association (PA) sponsored pumpkin carving event on October 29. PA Events Co-Chair Annie Kaiser said, “The event was wicked fun and drew families and a nice mix of kids of all ages. Kids and parents had a ball and were very creative with their carving. I loved seeing the kids collaborate while working together—lots of love and fun flowing through the room!”
Annie also noted that the event presented a great opportunity for families to tour the facility for the first time. “The venue was perfect—it’s such a welcoming vibrant space. The cozy feel makes the Ketchum Campus feel like a second home. I heard several families say they'd never been to the Ketchum Campus before this event, and I saw one mom touring a new family through the gym. There is a sense of pride our families have with the Ketchum Campus that was great to see.”
Fall Festival Brings Students Together at the Ketchum Campus
On October 13, the Upper School Student Senate hosted a Fall Festival event at the Residence Hall, which drew Upper School students across grade levels to the Ketchum Campus for fall-themed games and snacks. Student Senate President Alex Lafleur said of the event, “As a Student Senate, we hoped to provide an exciting evening of activities to bring day and boarding students together and utilize our amazing dorm facility. As it turned out, the attendance level at the event was amazing, and everyone walked away with a huge smile! We definitely will hold more community events at the dorm in the future to remind everyone that it is a great place to hangout.”
