Hoops Season Update

As the high school basketball season winds down, the varsity boys are 4-8 overall and 2-6 in conference play and the JV squad is 2-6 overall and 1-6 in conference. Varsity coach Connor Wade, says “The Cutthroat Basketball program is still in the preliminary stages of rebuilding. We are seeing a rejuvenation in a long and storied basketball culture at Sun Valley Community School. While only one upperclassman, senior Peter Morawitz, returned to play for the Cutthroats this year, the incoming sophomore and freshman classes total 16 young, but committed—and talented—basketball players. We are excited to finish out the 2018-19 season in style and will look to catch some teams off-guard in the tournament in mid-February. Stay tuned as the Cutthroats continue to improve and impress!"

Our Middle School hoops teams ended their seasons last week with twin records of 2-5 and ended the season with some exciting moments, great teamwork, plays, and skill. We look forward to seeing both the boys and the girls play next season!
