The 5th Grade Witches' Contest is a longstanding tradition at Sun Valley Community School and, as traditions should, it speaks volumes about what we value. The Witches' Contest embraces what kids love about Halloween—playing and pretending—and folds that into some significant learning moments where kids push their limits, are supported in taking those risks, and see the benefits of hard, collaborative work. What's more? They have fun while doing it! We love that the Witches' Contest, at its heart, brings our community together and celebrates the wonder of childhood.
