Welcome to Cutthroat Dawn Patrol, an Outdoor Leadership Academy outing that encourages skiers and snowboarders of all ages to earn some turns on Baldy before most other people have started to think about rising. It's a mountain town version of "the early bird gets the worm," and we love it! Students and faculty meet at the base of Baldy before the sun has come up, enjoy some hot chocolate together, and then skin up the mountain to ski some first turns in the early morning light. Our Outdoor Leadership Academy (OLA) is a three- or four-year program for Upper School students that builds on our unrivaled preK-12 Outdoor Program and provides students who want more adventure, more outdoor education, more skills, and more opportunities to lead in the outdoors a chance to dive deeper into those passions.
