Welcome to the 2017-18 school year! Over the past week, as we have welcomed families to campus for orientation activities, I have been especially inspired by the spirit of our new students, families, and faculty as they familiarize themselves with our Community School programs and facilities. Despite any nervousness or apprehension that may come from joining a new school and community, the most recent additions to our Cutthroat family have been diving in wholeheartedly. Their courage is amazing, and their collective engagement is reflective of our school's values of adventure, exploration, and seeking new challenges. To witness our new students, from those joining our toddler classroom (like Morghan Kearney, pictured here) through those new to twelfth grade, begin to discover the possibilities of a Community School education is truly a magical moment. Let's have a great first week of school!
