Some of our Cutthroat students traveled to Washington, D.C. recently to participate in the Model U.N. where high school students from all over the country gather in the nation's capital to represent a United Nations member state. They research and troubleshoot an issue particular to that member state. Throughout the experience, students learn about the world at-large, the experiences of others living in vastly different circumstances, and grapple with the complexity of the challenges facing our world.
At Sun Valley Community School, our mission is to inspire students to think critically, engage confidently, embrace challenges, and lead impactful, purposeful lives. We do this in the classroom, on outdoor trips, in the art or music studio, on the stage, and with immersive experiences like the Model U.N.
