Trail Creek Playground
Our Elementary School outdoor facilities are in need of an update.
A new playground and additional upgraded outdoor spaces will ensure that all of our young Cutthroats have safe and inspiring spaces to play, discover, and learn.
In total, the new playground, courtyards, and gathering spaces will cost an estimated $550,000. Some of the highlights include a main playscape with embankment slides, nest swings, an amphitheater, and reading nooks, an early childhood playscape with appropriately-sized equipment to fit our ECC students, courtyards on each side of the elementary school that provide students with more opportunities to explore and create, and a renovated basketball court and greenscape that more fully integrates with the natural landscape.
Below are some of the schematics, all of which are ADA compliant. Feel free to share with your loved ones!
Given the prioritized need and tight construction schedules in the Wood River Valley, we are reaching out to current families asking for support in making this improved space a reality. Our hope is to continue momentum through Grandfriends’ Day on May 24th, and have the majority of the construction and renovations done by the start of the 2024-25 school year.
