Sun Valley Community School is a small school with a global perspective. Since the launch of our Residential Program in 2011, our school has welcomed students from eight different countries, and we look forward to continuing our connection with international families.
International students from all over the world have joined us and made Sun Valley their home. Several student-athletes have been admitted for a single academic year abroad, while some have stayed for all four years of high school. Our international students have particularly enjoyed our Outdoor Program and the experience of living in our friendly Idaho community.
International students who join our boarding program make meaningful connections with their fellow students, with faculty and staff, and with local families through our host family program, which links each international student with a family committed to offering personal support and opportunities to explore the area throughout the year.
International applicants complete the same application for admission as domestic students. Please visit our Admissions Process page to learn more.
Please note: International applicants to Sun Valley Community School will need to demonstrate English proficiency.
