6-week course: Wednesdays, April 25 - May 30, 6-8:00 p.m. $120
From a brief history of Macintosh computers to an overview of the most current software, join Tom Nash for a look under the hood of the Apple Computer. We’ll demystify the hard drive and see how to create and organize files and how to store and retrieve information. Each class will be devoted to at least one new application such as iMovie, iTunes and iPhoto. We’ll also explore the various organization tools such as managing your Dock, using iCal and creating an Address Book. You’ll come out on the other end with a sound and comprehensive understanding of this amazing machine and it’s capabilities. Laptops provided if you don’t have your own.

Hero’s Journey Writing Workshop

6-week course: Wednesdays, April 25 - May 30, 6-8:00 p.m. $120
Share stories in a supportive and creative atmosphere. This memoir writing workshop is based on the Hero’s Journey concept of adventure and renewal espoused by mythologist Joseph Campbell. Writers should come prepared to explore themes each week in class, based on their own personal experience. Works in progress are welcome, but you will also be encouraged to write on topics presented in class.
Introduction to Adobe inDesign

For those who would like to learn how to combine images, text and illustrations into creative layouts. This workshop will take you from the basics of the software to some of the more advanced features. It will also touch on Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to give an understanding of how to work with the different types of imagery. You will also learn some basic design principles to help you create strong compositions and arrangements. From invitations and announcements to brochures and business cards, by the end of the class you’ll be able to create files ready to print and share.
Kundalini Yoga: Equilibrium of Body, Mind and Spirit

In Kundalini Yoga, we create deep, quick-acting change through focus on the glandular and nervous systems; and the complete effect of each Yoga set on the body. We’ll use posture, breath, mantra, and meditation. We have three parts, our ‘trinity’. These must be healed and strengthened, and then brought together into a frequency of Unity. You must coordinate these three aspects to know your Unity. All classes will take place at Maha Shakti Yoga Center on Main Street Plaza Building, 416 S. Main Street, Hailey.
