Application Procedure
Thank you for your interest in the Early Childhood Center at The Community School. We will be accepting applications for admission through February 22nd, 2010. Parents will be notified of placement decisions the week of March 12, 2010. If there are still spaces available, rolling admission will continue through the spring and summer.
Applicants must have reached two years of age by September 1st of the year of entrance. Children who have reached four years of age by September 1st of the year of entrance are encouraged to attend the five-days/week, full-day program (8am - 2:15pm). We require the following for a complete application:
1. An Application Form
2. A non-refundable application fee of $35.00 (please make checks payable to The Community School)
3. A Parent Statement
4. A Teacher Evaluation form (If your child is entering the 4-year old program and is currently enrolled in another preschool)
5. A Tour/Visit: Please contact the Director of Admission to schedule a tour of our campus and a meeting with either the Elementary School Director or the Early Childhood Coordinator.
