Environmental Club

The Community School's Environmental Science class is sponsoring a Cell Phone Recycling Drive.  We are recycling used cell phones via Eco-Cell in order to conserve resources and keep hazardous substances from entering the environment.  According to the EPA, only 10 percent of unwanted cell phones are recycled each year.  Recycling cell phones reduces greenhouse gas emissions, keeps valuable materials out of landfills, and conserves natural resources. If you have an old cell phone, please bring it to one of the various collection sites at The Community School, F-Stop, or The Coffee Grinder.  For more information, contact Audrey Kirk.
