Gifts of Cash
Cash gifts are tax-deductible in the year the gift is given. Checks should be made out to  Community School. Visa and Mastercard also are accepted.

Gifts of Securities
If you own securities which have appreciated, you may find that you can make a larger gift at a lower cost than by using cash. Gifts of long-term appreciated assets are particularly beneficial in terms of tax savings. Instructions for making gifts of securities to Community School can be obtained by calling the Development Office at 208/622-3960, ext. 164.

Gifts-in-Kind
The school accepts gifts-in-kind that are appropriate to its mission. Gifts-in-kind may include, but are not limited to, books, computers, works of art, real estate, etc.

Planned Gifts
Planned gifts enable you to leave a legacy larger than you may have once thought possible.  Planned giving also allows you to provide current and future support the programs at  Community School that interest you.

Planned gifts are gifts that are made as a part of each individual’s financial plan, many of which benefit you now and may benefit Community School in the future.  Other Life Income Gifts may benefit both you and Community School now. Click here for more information and types of planned giving.
