Sun Valley Community School welcomes international students to our boarding program.
We are a small school with a global perspective. Since the launch of our residential program in 2011, Community School has welcomed students from sixteen different countries, and we look forward to continuing our connection with international families.
International applicants complete the same application for admission as domestic students. We encourage all prospective students to visit Sun Valley Community School to understand the exceptional opportunities we offer and to see firsthand our stunning setting in Sun Valley, Idaho. If an in-person visit is not possible, applicants are invited to participate in a Skype interview.
International students who join our boarding program make meaningful connections with their fellow students, with faculty and staff, and with local families through our Host Family program, which links each international student with a family committed to offering personal support and opportunities to explore the area throughout the year.
You create community in the dorm; everyone is your family and you make close friendships.
